Here is an explanation about the allowances:Medical care benefit for those who did not return to work
The benefit will be paid to a victim who doesn't work or who worked and took a leave to receive medical care in relation to the injury, and did not receive any salary or indemnification during that period.
The benefit will be paid temporarily until recovery, based on medical certificates in relation to the injury.
Are entitled to this benefit victims over 14 years old, even if they did not work at all before the injury.
Are deducted from the benefit disability benefits paid as victim of hostile actions, allowances from the National Insurance, under the Disabled Victims of War Against the Nazis Law, under the Disabled Victims of Nazis Persecutions Law, and a pension from permanent military service in IDF or national service.
A person absent from work, whose employer pays him a salary during his time of leave - shall fill out a hand-written claim for medical care benefit which includes the employer's request for reimbursement, and we will be able to assess the possibility to transfer the benefit to the employer. The claim can be sent by means of the document delivery service on the website or to the branch nearest your place of residence.
Determining the degree of disability and disability allowance
A disability allowance is paid to those who remained physically or mentally disabled in a limiting manner as result of the injury.
To the claim must be attached medical certificates related to the injury. The claim and medical documents will be transferred to a medical board that will determine the degree of disability.
